The Museum of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg is Now Hosting Their "Color Riot!"
Museums are a fun way to get out of the house and take in some of the city's culture. During the entire month of January, the Museum of Fine Arts is hosting a special exhibit called "Color Riot! How Color Changed Navajo Textiles."
Those wishing to go to the museum to check out the new art display will get to experience the following:
- There are over 80 weavings from the 1900s available to view.
- The special exhibit started in December and will run through the entire months of January and February and then end in mid-March.
- The artifacts tell the story of the Navajo tribe using unique design techniques and lots of bright colors.
